To be fair – she was really strong before she came to me, but we worked on refining some answers, ensuring evidence for the various competencies was strong and working on confidence in advance of the session.
Building up confidence comes up in practically every interview coaching session I’ve ever done. I remember my parents arranging some interview practice for me with a HR contact they knew when I was a fresh eyed 19 year old flying over to London for my first proper interview (an investment banking interview no less). I believe the confidence boost the interview session gave me was a key factor that got me through that experience & helped me land the offer!
