Cancellation Policy – Appointments can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance. Money will not be refundable for cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment start time. We understand exceptional circumstances can sometimes arise – rescheduling/refund will be at our discretion within 48 hours of the appointment.

Cancellation by us – If we need to cancel for any reason efforts will be made to alert the client as soon as possible, and rescheduling/refund will be offered.

Coaching Packages – can be used for one year from date of purchase.

Gift Vouchers – are valid for five years from date of purchase.

Group Coaching – minimum group numbers apply. Group coaching will be cancelled and money refunded if minimum booking numbers not met.

Services provided – Career coaching services are provided where the client and the coach work in partnership to help the client articulate and achieve their goals. No guarantees are made in respect of any external outcome such as successful interview outcomes or invitation to interview.

Geographical coverage – We coach clients based in Ireland and the UK (or looking to work in these countries). Due to insurance restrictions we can not coach clients who are resident in the United States or Canada.

If you provide your email address to receive a free resource, like a free CV template your email will be added to our email list (from which you can unsubscribe at any time).

Information provided by third parties

We may receive your email address from a third party – for instance an external career consultant who is working with you and has purchased a Career Report on your behalf. We have checked those third parties have your consent to disclose your personal information to us.

How do we process your data

Your name, email address and other contact details may be used to manage our communications with you. You can opt out of any marketing emails by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email.

Any responses you provide for the Career Report questionnaire will be automatically processed to generate your Career Report.

Any material such as Curriculum Vitae and application forms provided in booking a Career Coaching session will be accessed in advance and during the session by us.

Who we share your data with

We may share your personal information with third party service providers who provide data processing services to us to support our website or the services we provide to you.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

I really enjoyed working with Cathy and the advice she gave to me during the session. Cathy helped me get direction in the session with career choices and how I could narrow down different career options and what my priorities were. The career work book was good in terms of continuing in decision making for a career path. In the session Cathy was easy to talk to and gave me ideas while also listening to different suggestions I had to offer. The questionnaire gave us a good starting point where my skills may lie and we went from there. I would advice anyone who's looking for guidance for their career path to do it because it gives direction.

I had a zoom meeting with Cathy in order to help with a future career change. I went into the meeting with no plan or real idea on what I wanted to do or where to begin. When I decided I wanted to work with a careers coach I actually found it quite hard to find someone who offered a practical service. A lot of career coaches that I came across were all about working with personal traits like building confidence. But as someone coming from such a mixed background of work, I was looking for a coach who was actually going to help me to define and realise what sort of jobs I should be looking for because I had no idea. I have run my own business for the last three years but have found myself bored and looking for a total change but not quite being able to put my finger on what I wanted to do exactly. Only having vague ideas of indefinite job titles. I felt like when I was a kid and I said that I wanted to be a fixer, you know, who fixes things.I was looking extensively for a career counsellor and came across Cathy and Career Coach Me. I was extremely busy with work so the fact that I didn't have to go anywhere or take any time off was a big plus. After picking the option to have an hour consultation the process of booking it was effortless and you get email prompts of how to access the online video appointment. The program Cathy uses for the video call is really good, no annoying set up or anything. Just click the link and there you go.We talked about various things and I gave her my vague ideas of what I wanted to do and she always had the perfect question to get closer to the end decision.I was also applying to go to college as a mature student and she gave me a few tips for my CV. As the only CV I had was an electrical CV it was a completely different structure to what I needed for a college application. I wrote one and then booked another appointment with Cathy and The suggestions and fine tuning that she gave me was fantastic. The CV was completely different to what I would have written if left to my own devices.Cathy also said that I could send her on anything that came up in the application form that I was not sure of. I felt this was above and beyond what I would have expected from a service like this. But it was no bother to her at all. And when I emailed her to ask if she left a certain section of what I had written was too long(probably like this review) she got back to me straight away with more advice. It was in fact too long(a bit like this review).I would highly recommend booking an appointment with Cathy. It's all super simple and she is really easygoing and friendly whilst getting down to business at the same time. She has helped me no end and the return on investment is definitely worth it.

I was recently made redundant from my IT job. I was sending out CVs but wasn't getting many responses. I was referred to Cathy by a friend.
