Just wrapped up a collaboration with Engage Edu – a Limerick based charity that encourages and supports Limerick students to further their education.
After a few discussions around how to best support career development, students each completed their Career Report and had a chance to read through it before a 90 minute group workshop. The workshop was interactive and gave students the opportunity to reflect on their key career drivers – their skills, work type preferences and work values and what that might mean for their future careers.
Students also received job match suggestions – the 50 jobs that most closely matched their unique career profiles, providing an opportunity to explore the wide range of options available to them.
Student came away with an action plan – based on the career development model of 1) knowing yourself 2) knowing the world 3) testing it out and 4) decision making.
Such a nice organisation to work with and a pleasure to have been involved.
